Winter 2024 Events Round Up

Even in the cold winter months, there’s plenty going on in the Finger Lakes Countrysides. Whether you enjoy exploring food and beverage, appreciating art, learning more about health and wellness, or just finding a fun activity for the day—there are a variety of events to fit your interests. This winter, plan to visit and check out:

Wine Trail Events hosted by the Keuka Lake Wine Trail & Seneca Lake Wine Trail

Various dates in February and March

Winter months are the perfect and very underrated time to visit Finger Lakes wineries. Both the Keuka Lake Wine Trail and Seneca Lake Wine Trail member wineries host themed self-guided tours, with each lake boasting a unique and different style. Make a weekend getaway out of it and explore the countryside’s during the cozy winter season when it’s quieter and lodging rates are lower. 9 Mile GlacierFest hosted by Laurentide Beer Company and Relative Risk Brewing

Saturday, February 17, 2024 | 12 p.m. to 9 p.m.

If you enjoy good company and great beer, the 9 Mile GlacierFest is an event you won’t want to miss. Experience a winter wonderland filled with live music, local food trucks, and lots of craft beer, wines, and spirits. There will also be a variety of activities like an icy cornhole tournament. A complimentary shuttle will run all day to take you back and forth between locations to make sure you won’t miss out on any of the fun! This event is 21+ only and free to attend.

Walking in a Winter Wineryland hosted by Hunt Country Vineyards and Montezuma Audobon Center

Saturday, March 2, 2024 | 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Enjoy the outdoors and a variety of wine at the Walking in a Winter Wineryland event at Hunt Country Vineyards, in partnership with Montezuma Audobon Center. You’ll be guided on a leisure hike through Hunt Country’s vineyard trails where you can observe a variety of birds and wildlife. After the excursion, you will be led back to the tasting room for wine and soup that will be sure to warm you up. There will also be a presentation on wildlife with an up-close experience. Attendees are welcome to stay after the presentation for more tasting opportunities.

Stew & Brew hosted by Hampton Inn on Keuka Lake

Saturday, March 9, 2024 | 6 p.m. to 10 p.m

Get your taste buds and dancing shoes ready for the annual Stew & Brew at the Hampton Inn’s Conference Center, Seasons on Keuka Lake. Featuring live music by popular Finger Lakes band, Ruby Shooz, stew and beer tastings, an ice bar, and special overnight rates. Call the hotel at 315-536-8202 for tickets and to book a room. This event is 21+ only.

Numerous other events are happening over the next few months that you won’t want to miss!

There are plenty of Valentine themed events like wine dinners, special tastings with fun locally made treats, brunch and more. Check out Glenora Wine Cellars for the complete package including lodging and a romantic Valentine’s Day lunch or dinner on February 14th If you can’t make it on Valentine’s Day, the restaurant will be serving celebratory specials through Sunday, February 18th.

If you enjoy yoga, consider attending community yoga at Lakeside Country Club on Thursday mornings, or at Yates Community Center on Saturday mornings. The Saunders Finger Lakes Museum has an array of winter outdoor activities and programs for those seeking to get outside more, like snowshoeing on the weekends.
