Making Spirits Bright This Holiday Season

Looking to add new traditions or a fun outing during the holidays? The Finger Lakes Countrysides has something for everyone to enjoy and raise your spirits. Check out these fun activities and attractions we know you’re going to love.

Highland Tree Farm & Christmas Market

highland tree farm

This new attraction in Yates County is a wonderful addition to not only holiday activities, but the local agricultural offerings! The farm is located at 1985 Keech Road in Branchport, one of the highest points in the County, a guaranteed bucolic wintery view.

The farm and multi day market is open weekends from Thanksgiving up until Christmas. We attended their grand opening at the idyllic property and spirited Christmas market in their converted horse barn, and it was the perfect start to the holiday season in the Finger Lakes.

Co-owners Sean and Ellie Burke started Highland Tree Farm in the Spring of 2020 with a vision of a Scottish inspired Christmas and festive tradition that is sure to take off with their inaugural season. While their trees are not quite ready for you pick this season, a wonderful selection of freshly pre-cut trees from other local farmers are available.

The Christmas Market is teeming with local vendors, entertainment, food, holiday treats, and pure joy. Shop for local gifts and discover unique items with a personal and local Finger Lakes touch. You can check out what local vendors are in attendance each week on their website and make your plans to visit Highland Tree Farm & Christmas Market this holiday season!
