Wineries, Breweries and Cideries
Bravery Wines Tasting Room
Bravery Wines is transitioning from a wine brand to a winery with a brand-new tasting room in Dresden, near Seneca Lake. The former Mr. Twistees ice cream shop will become the home of one of the Finger Lakes’ newest tasting rooms. Founded by a U.S. Air Force Veteran and his wife, Bravery Wines will continue donating a portion of each bottle to support Veteran, Military Spouse and First Responder focused non-profit organizations.
Lake Life Brewery
Lake Life Brewery is coming to the shores of the Keuka Lake Outlet in Penn Yan. This new brewery will focus on a European-style platform of ales including Kolsch Style ales, Belgian Lagers and Pilsners. Lake Life also plans to offer wood-fired pizza in a variety of flavors. Red Hammer Orchard & Cider Co.
Cider lovers rejoice, because Red Hammer Orchard & Cider Co., will be featured at Abandon Brewing in 2024. Stay tuned for more details!
Vineyard View Winery Satellite Tasting Room
Spring brings the opening of the Vineyard View Winery Satellite Tasting Room and Event Space at Sweet Farm. It’s the perfect setting for a memorable wine-tasting experience and special events. Relax on the farm while enjoying amazing wines and taking advantage of everything the farm has to offer, like its fresh flowers and veggies.
Apple Barrel Orchards Cider Tasting Room
In 2023, Apple Barrel Orchards introduced their brand-new cider tasting room. Now more than just a U-Pick orchard, Apple Barrel Orchards will reopen for the season in May 2024, serving their award-winning Northern Concord Grape Cider as well as several new cider varieties.
Head to the Saunders Finger Lakes Museum for a snowshoeing experience this winter! Available on weekends from January 6th to March 16th, it’s a great way to explore the stunning landscapes at your own pace. No snowshoes are required, the museum has ones available that you can use all weekend long.
The Saunders Finger Lakes Museum is currently undergoing a major renovation. Thanks to a transformative gift by local philanthropist, E. Phillip Saunders, the museum is building a new exhibition hall, which will open sometime in 2024.

In Rushville, check out Finger Lakes Plates, a new addition to the culinary scene. Enjoy burgers, hots, Garbage Plates and more. The new spot offers weekly specials, including a unique “Plate of the Week.”
Ardin Kay Boutique
Indulge in some retail therapy at Ardin Kay Boutique in Penn Yan. This charming new boutique offers a curated selection of fashion, accessories, and more. Find the perfect gift or something new for yourself!
Located in the Village of Penn Yan, this new retail bottle shop will be a lovely addition and fit for the Finger Lakes. Folk Bottle is all about telling stories. With a focus on sustainable, biodynamic, and low intervention wines Lucy Stork & Tony Glanzman aim to share the stories of vintners and winemakers in a way that feels right to them. Offering a selection of wine and spirits, the newly renovated space will be a haven for craft beverage lovers.
